This ritual items are what that is used to say prayers during juju preparation against people’s progress saying, life shall get impossible for him/her at eke,orie,afo and nkwo market days (meaning all the days of his or her life). Its called IGA in Igbo.
Because its said to be all the days of ones life, 4 pieces are put yo represent these four market days
8 pieces are used to symbolize or represents okeke,okorie,okafo,okonkwo,mgbeke,mgborie,mgbafo na mgborie.
While reversing such spells we also use these as stated but in opposite to cause deliverance.
